Artwork Description

“Favourite things” is a series of still life paintings assembled from oddball objects collected over the years. From '80s greeting cards, sculpted wooden figures, painted match boxes from Durban to knitted cacti and a host of seemingly unrelated stuff. They all have meaning to me, were thoughtfully composed together and made me smile and chuckle to myself whilst painting them. Hopefully they will also bring a smile, a chuckle or even a laugh out loud to other viewers too.

PLEASE NOTE: This artwork is on unstretched canvas and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy mailing tube. Simply take it to your framer; stretching a canvas is a standard service offered at any good frame shop.
