Artist's Description

Thalia: derived from the Greek word "thallo" which means "to blossom." Thalia was one of the nine Muses, a group of sisters who were the goddesses of the arts. "My latest works are a combination of different design elements with portraiture. There is a story to be found in each face. With this work I explored retro textile designs from the sixties and seventies as well as the mid century modern minimalistic art. " - Anina

PLEASE NOTE: This artwork ships from South Africa on unstretched canvas rolled into a sturdy mailing tube. Simply take it to your framer; stretching a canvas is a standard service offered at any good frame shop.
