This painting evolved as the inks flowed down the paper. I was experimenting with the inks allowing the shapes and colours to flow together without a particular subject matter in mind. I didn't try to paint any particular form or details as I was more interested in the way the colours reacted with each other. Gradually, a bird's eye emerged which seemed to focus firmly on the viewer. It is the only sharp outlined detail which contrasts with the overall loose appearance of this abstract painting.
