    • Artist Statement
      • My work explores the beauty of still life from everyday objects and things around in my daily life. I am inspired by the works of the old masters especially the Dutch still life school. My work often incorporates objects that have symbolic meaning attached to them, aiming to tell stories and provoke the thoughts of the viewers. I am also inspired by the beauty of nature and flowers are my favourite subject to paint. Much of my work uses balance composition with a sense of tranquility. My painting style is realism and I paint predominantly in oil, but also work in acrylics, pastel and watercolour.
